About Us

Hi, we're Brian and Ama, owners of Paradise Pool Service. As parents of six children, we completely understand how important a relaxing getaway can be, not only as a reward to yourself, but also as a way to boost your long-term productivity. Whether you’re looking for weekly maintenance or an entire renovation, choosing the right pool company is a big decision. That’s why we thought it might be helpful to give you some background on who we are.


Ama grew up in Puerto Rico with a lifestyle that overflowed with Caribbean bliss. Every day offered a fresh opportunity to escape into a natural getaway made up of rainforests, mountains, and miles of beaches. When she moved to Melbourne, Florida to study Aviation Management, she met a local surfer and fell in love.
Believe it or not, that surfer was Brian. 


Between a backyard pool and the ocean 10 blocks from his childhood home, Brian was fully immersed in Neptune Beach’s aquatic culture from a young age. So when they hit it off, their bond felt like a match made in paradise. Fast forward several decades, and their love for eachother, their family, and their beachside lifestyle still lives on. 


Up to this point, Ama, a superhuman, has successfully homeschooled four children into adulthood. She looks forward to watching the final two of six carve their own paths in the coming years. On top of the typical responsibilities of motherhood, Ama has always found a way to keep her creative skills sharp. From hosting Creative Memories events to teaching English to classrooms of middle schoolers, there has never been a dull moment. Meanwhile, Brian spent much of his corporate career in sales and business development. He always felt his engineering degree and leadership skills could be applied to something more fulfilling, but he needed the right opportunity.


Finally, after years of due-diligence and sourcing a qualified team, that opportunity presented itself. Ever since, Brian and Ama have remained committed to not only helping their own customers, but also to raising the bar for pool companies throughout Jacksonville. Countless customers have praised the enthusiasm they have for ensuring a top-tier experience no matter what service they provide, and there are still no signs of slowing. 


As Paradise has grown unprecedentedly through word-of-mouth referrals, Brian and Ama are excited to continue perfecting the pool experience that brings so much joy to their community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is included in your Weekly Maintenance service?

A: We skim leaves and debris, clean walls and steps, check water level and equipment, clean the filter when pressure exceeds 20PSI, identify apparent leaks, clean the salt cell if applicable, measure and adjust chemicals for balance, and send you a report after our visit. 

 

Q: What is not included in your Weekly Maintenance service?

A: To keep a reasonable flat fee,  chemicals-included price, we only include chemicals used for regular pool maintenance. Additional services such as treatment for algae or storm debris will require a separate quote.

 

Q: Do I need to be at home during the maintenance visit?

A: No. To make it easy on our customers, we arrange weekly access to your pool so you don’t need to worry about letting us in. 

 

Q: Do you offer any additional services besides weekly maintenance?

A: Yes, we offer additional services such as equipment repair and replacement, pool remodels, pool inspections, and water restoration services. Check out our Services page or the other Frequently Asked Questions tabs to learn more. 

 

Q: How do I schedule a maintenance visit?

A: You can schedule a maintenance visit by submitting a form through our website or by calling us directly. Both methods will require an in-person estimate visit, after which we will send you an electronic quote via email that you can accept. 

 

Q: What is your payment policy?

A: Payment is due on the first of each month that we will provide service. For your convenience we’ll also help enroll you in Auto-Pay via a credit card to ensure seamless service.
